Hood River Engineers, Inc, a 100% employee-owned firm, is seeking Ten CAD Drafter/Designers to assist our growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Civil and Structural Departments. The CAD Drafter/Designer is a key role within our firm. These individuals report directly to Design Manager and is responsible for creating, editing and finalizing plans for construction projects. These projects may include Federal, State, County, City and Private Projects.
Job functions will include, but not be limited to the following:
Develop complete sets of project plans using AutoCAD. Identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget.
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components and assemblies.
Maintain organization within the existing drawing database.

The days and hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You may be required to work overtime to meet project demands.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00/per hour with no experience and up to $25.00/hour for experienced
